Knowledge Solutions can provide Assessment services for clients who want to determine if they are maximizing their Lawson Software or just need reassurance that they are using the software as designed. Our assessment staff is comprised of experts with years of experience in Financial, Human Resources (HR)/Payroll and Procurement/Supply Chain management. This unique service will provide assessment, analysis and recommendations on ways to better utilize the Lawson Systems and Applications.
Assessment Services:
- Conduct staff interviews.
- Discuss with your onsite financial, HR or procurement management areas where they feel the software may be deficient or what concerns or needs they have on what the system can provide. Identify a controlled number of issues to focus on and prioritize points of concern.
- Interview the financial, HR or procurement staff to determine how they use the system currently and where they would look for improvement.

- Review what functionality is being used and also what functionality is not being used. Determine if there is any business purpose why functionality not being used should be.
- Identify if the system is being maintained to allow client to utilize the controls inherent in the applications.
- Conduct review of current processing, daily, monthly and year end and ensure best practices are being followed.
- Training.
- Identify areas where staff could use additional training.
- Develop a training plan and the types of training necessary, as well as a format convenient for the client: formal classroom, small group review or one on one.
- Identify Quick Solutions. Based on the interview, identify some quick tips for better utilization of the Lawson Applications.
- Utilization of Lawson's MS Add-In Tool.
- Based on the MS Add-In Tool, identify areas where uploads can save considerable data entry time.
- Setup changes.
- Process or procedural changes.
- Documentation.
- Create a comprehensive report of findings with suggestions, recommendations and procedures on how to implement them.
- Documentation of the quick tips identified during the assessment process.
